3.0 model spin-up, which is in progress on the Cray T3E at the Arctic Region Supercomputer Center:

The monthly average ocean files are ~1.0 Gb, the 30
day ocean snapshot files are ~689 Mb each, the daily ocean snapshot
files are ~40 Mb each, the monthly average ice files are ~66 Mb each
and the daily ice snapshot files are approximately 28 Mb each following
conversion to netCDF format.

The variables that are written to each file can be
changed, within limits, so if there is a specific variable you feel it
is important to have, let us know.

Note, the model is still in the development stage
and changes are being made which will affect the output.
