Lab 2: MatLab Data Acquisition file format

The goal of this lab is to familiarize the students with real acoustic data, provide the tools to extract the pressure time-series and calculate spectrum and spectrograms for data visualization and preliminary analysis.

 

The NPS shipboard RF data collection system is a multi-channel recording system that utilizes MatLab's Data Acquisition Toolbox to record data files onto the host computer system as binary *.daq files.
