I enjoyed reading the poster and would appreciate a preprint of
the mansuscript. The temporal and spatial resolution of this
remarkable time series is used to examine questions that could
only be addressed with this sampling resolution.
A clarification - for the eddy exchange processes, my
understanding is the mean
fields U, T are based on the concurrent ADCP/XBT sections,
although there are many more ADCP sections available that
are used for the mean U shown in Fig. 1. Correct?
I found it an interesting and useful point that despite the
meandering of the GS which smears out the structure of the
current in Eulerian coordinates, that it will not be an issue
for the heat and momentum fluxes using the concurrent sections.
Although it's not a topic for this poster, have the authors made
comparisons of geostrophic shears (from XBTs) and ADCP shears?
