Hi Piola! I've just looked at your virtual poster and one piece
of information written down there called my attention. The IES
data reveals northward variations of the Malvinas current with
persistence of 15 to 60 days. To what extent do you believe these
excursions could be associated with the generation of Topographic
Rossby waves with centered peaks around 29-30 days in the confluence
region, as discussed by Garzoli and Simionato (1990)?
