I didn't explicitly test the southern transports between the two experiments. One of the reasons for this is that in addition to the change in transport due to the upstream topography, there are also topographical effects just south of Hawaii. This alters the south of Hawaii (SoH) transport value. However, for comparison purposes, judging purely by eye, it seems that the SoH transport in the flat bottom run is between 4.5 to 5.5, but again, due to the other transport modifications SoH, this is a hard diagnostic to accurately describe.
