Profiling CTD

My effort will be in collaboration with Tim Stanton. We will operate an automated Yoyo CTD-Microstructure Profiler (YCMP) from the moon-pool of the ship and deploy remote drifting buoys measuring ice mass balance and ocean heat flux. With respect the YCMP, my responsibilities will include the CTD instrument and mechanical parts of the winch system. Stanton will be responsible for the microstructure measurements and will develop new winch-control/data-acquisition software. We will jointly plan the sampling strategies and analyze and interpret the data.
