I enjoyed this poster very much - and was particularly
pleased with the setup - large letters but with room for
complete discussion. I have a few questions:
Perhaps I missed it - but within the model what is
the average total transport through the various
portals (Drake , Equatl, ITFL, TAS etc...)
What is the variation in this transport?
How much of the transport around the southern tip
of South Africa is occurring within eddies?
Would it be possible to look at the variation in
the transports you quote (Drake 5.8 etc..) or does the
restoring to Levitus limit the variance?
I am not that surprised at the existence of the
"tepid" water routine, but where does this water
originate - is it recirculated within the Pacific
or around Australia or..?
