Well, first of all congratulations for your Poster. The study of mesoscale eddies is pretty cool and neat.
However, one of the motivations for this kind of study is to be able to estimate the role of eddies in the
large-scale context in terms of mixing of vorticity, momentum, and heat. Even though the EAC eddies may not
contribute significantly to the oceanic heat flux they may have a significant impact on local climate. Have
you ever thought of investigating it in a near future? Another thing. In the conclusions section you speculate
that the variability in the EAC volume transport may be linked to eddy shedding activity. How are you planning
to corroborate your statement? Have you attempted to compute eddy momentum fluxes? Meridional contributions of
momentum fluxes may accelerate the EAC flow accounting for the observed downstream transport increases.
