These lectures were prepared mainly by Dr. John Hannah, University of Otago, NZ, during a visit to NPS in 2000. Dr. Rost Parsons and Dr. James Clynch provided input and assistance.

The data relied heavily on lectures from the Defense Mapping School, Nima College. Material from ESRI and other sources were used. Some material is original.
