Web-based Courses in the Oceanography Department
The following courses are offered in a web-based format:
- OC2930: Oceanography for Undersea Warfare - Basic concepts in geological, physical, chemical, and biological oceanography, with emphasis on navy-relevant topics such as acoustics and environmental issues such as marine mammal mitigation and global climate change.
This course is offered by the Oceanography Department of the Naval Postgraduate School as part of the ASW Certificate Program. This is a fully online, instructor-led distance learning course. Availability is limited to military Officers and U.S. Government Civilians.
